logo Toi Toi Trekkers (4TC) is a South Auckland based tramping club affiliated to Federated Mountain Clubs New Zealand (FMC). We enjoy many Sunday and weekend tramping trips into Regional and National Parks throughout New Zealand. We welcome you to read the list of Future Activities planned and come join the fun!

History

From early 1971 tramping trips were run about once a month from Aorere College with senior pupils, a teacher, and Frank Potbury our founding President. When Aorere College became one of the first community colleges in New Zealand, one of the night classes was for those interested in starting a local tramping club; this was 1975 and trips by this time were every Sunday, with weekend tramps going further afield. more...

How to Participate

Monthly Club Meetings

Meetings are held at 8.00 pm on the first Thursday of the month (except January) at the St. George Scout Hall, Guide Place, Papatoetoe. New members are always welcome to come along for a chat, coffee, and join the activities. Members a $2.00 coin at the door please. Contact Us...

Track closures - Tui Mine Track ...
and Tui Road Closure (Kaimai FP) The Tui mine track and Tui road (near Te Aroha township) are closed to the public to allow phase 2 of the Tui mine remediation project to commence. The area will be a multiple hazard construction site, and public access is prohibited. The expected completion date for the project is July 2013, earlier if possible.
